Botox is injected into the neck area (Platysmal muscles) to block nerve impulses, relaxing the targeted muscles effectively.
The Platysmal muscle of the front of the neck, constantly pulls downwards and can lead to development of jowls or horizontal “necklace lines”. This can also give rise to prominent cords appearing vertically down the neck from the jaw and chin.
During the treatment, multiple Botox injections are made along each Platysmal band in the neck. This treatment is quick and easy and great for someone who wants an enhancement without the downtime.

The Facts
Anti-Wrinkle treatments begin to work 2-3 days after the treatment and reach their full effect within 7-14 days. The effects can typically last for up to 3-4 months depending on the individual.
Aftercare
First hour after treatment: Do some gentle movement of the areas treated
For four hours after treatment:
- Keep your head upright and don’t lie down.
- Don’t rub the treated areas
- Don’t apply make up in the treated areas
For 24 hours after treatment:
- Avoid aerobic exercise
- Avoid alcohol
For the following two weeks we advise to avoid extreme heat i.e. Saunas, sunbeds, steam rooms and very hot baths and showers
